New Beginnings
That's it then. The final sight of the old place, caputured in a photograph, the last thing I want to remember here because it's time to go.
Time to say goodbye to the old and in with the new. It's funny because I never really knew our attic. I lived below its expressionless ceiling for fifteen years, but never took the time to get to know it.
What am I going on about? It's an attic. A convenient storage place for all our junk. A place where we pack away memories and the things we can't bear to part with.
I'm actually writing this first entry from the back seat of the car on our way to the new house. I guess this is going to be my own little attic in a way; a place to store my memories, my feelings, the things that are going to matter to me in the future.
It's a new start for all of us; me, mum, dad. This photograph I guess sums up a few things- looking out into the light of a new dawn or looking back into the darkness of the past.
Let's see where we go...
