Two Hundred

Wow.

Two hundred consecutive blips. It's just crept up on me. I had grand plans for 200 and I'd miscounted and I thought it was tomorrow. Today is definitely not tomorrow, and therefore not a blissful Saturday without work commitments, so I had to come up with something else!

I figured that after 200 blips it was about time that I showed myself properly, so here I am (note that I'm not always this hairy!). Had a bit of fun with some light painting too, just to add it in there.

It's amazing how quickly Blip gets under your skin, although it's not hard to see why. The creativity and dedication of all of the amazing people on this site is something that I am constantly in awe of. What a fantastic community! Without a doubt, my life is enriched by being part of Blip. It makes me look at the world differently, pushing myself to find something that calls out to me in what can be the most banal of days.

It also encourages me to experiment (like today's blip - a composite of two shots and a first for me) and learn. I'm always happiest when I'm learning something. I'd also like to say that my incredible wife is very supportive of my blipping, even though it eats into our time together. I hope that at the end of the year, the resulting blipbook will be something that we can enjoy together as well as being a great chronicle of much of Miles' first year.
