what you mean my breath smells!!!!!

The weather has improved since yesterday afternoon here in Side Turkey. We had thunder, lightening, rain and gale force winds. The gales were so bad the tree's were almost doubled over. A branch was torn from a tree which went crashing through a bar, luckily no one was injured. Our cupbaord/room remained unaffected by the onslaught. The power did eventually give out and even God up in his little mosque tower lost the ablilty to be able to call anyone who cared enough to worship. Power must have been restored at some point in the night as He was there at 5am up in his little blue lit tower doing his little sing song. I do wish they would improve the sound system in those things!
We woke this morning to sunshine and here and there was evidence of damage done by Mother Nature (She doesnt need a little blue tower with a chronic sound system to be heard.. No she just lets rip). The Turks were back out there selling their wares which they do with an almost animal ferocity, not alot gets in the way of that but yesterdays storm certainly did so they are doublely eager to relieve tourists of their lira.
Husband (here forth known as Cheap Bastard) and I went off to look at ancient ruins and old stuff. Its not really his cup of tea, but then again anything other than football isnt his cup of tea, but even he couldnt help but be impressed by it all, the ruins really are quite magnificent.
We had a good wonder around taking in all the sites and I came across this beauty sat smiling at me so I couldnt help but take a picture of her. Think her owner wanted me to pay him for the pleasure of the shot but I just looked at him with a blank expression.
Its coming up to weekend and I have heard CB mention a football match on telly tomorrow so no doubt he will go off in search of a Sports Bar. Wonder if he will give me his wallet to go shopping with........mmmmmmm.....what are the chances??
