Typical Friday

At this time of year it is pretty typical to see the cows on the common crossing the road en masse and walking down the road. They don't mind that the road is busy and well used with a 40 mph limit. This was a rare occasion they are actually using the pavement. There are lots of ponys about at the moment too but as the evenings become darker earlier it signals that they will all soon be taken off the common for the winter. I now wish I'd gone walking on the common more this year as I usually try and get a few shots of them sunbathing or destroying the flags on the golf course!
