China and Britain's nuclear deal

Britain's nuclear plants are fast approaching the end of their usable lifespan plus demand for electricity in the UK is growing at one percent year-on-year. In partnership with EDF a Chinese nuclear energy company will help build a generation three reactor at Hinckley Point in Somerset.

Today, colleague of mine met Mr Osborne while he was on a visit to the Taishan plant. I heard that Boris Johnson was also in the locale.
