Peek a boo!

L's teacher was taking strike action, which meant L had to stay home. This also meant I had to stay home as I had no-one to look after her!

Her topic at school has been 'The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe', the children were interested in the fat the children had been evacuated at the beginning of the story and so thier class topic altered course slightly to incorporate the 2nd world war and the effect it had on our country.

As we had a mid-week day off in term time I decided to take L to London, to the Imperial War Museum as they had an exhibition about family life during the war.

It was a great day out and some friends came too which made it more entertaining!

I spotted this little fellow as we were making our way back to Lambeth North tube. It made me smile, I hope it does you, too
