Friends Bud, look Friends

We were down on the beach very early this morning, which is not like me, but I had a busy day ahead of me. To the delight of Poppy and Bud we met this lovely spaniel, whose name I never remember. We don't meet them very often owing to my inability to get going in the morning. However Poppy always greets them as long lost best friends, both the spaniel and his owner. Some people she really loves and recognises immediately and others she takes no notice of at all. It doesn't seem to matter if they are doggy or non-doggy people. As far as I can work it out it is people and dogs she met as a puppy, it doesn't make any difference how often we see them, if we met them early on in her life she will love them forever. Bud just follows on as is his wont.
