James E. Young

Jim is a 25 years old PhD student here in the lab.
He is teaching robots to communicate with humans in natural and expressive ways - e.g. via comic gestures. In his spare time he likes to bike and play with his cat Neko.

I took his picture before he left for a 3 month internship to Tokyo with Takeo Igarashi, a very famous professor in our field.
