Ready, steady...
...relax. The wee man is so close to crawling now that we're convinced he's almost mastered it. He tries so hard to push himself along, and regularly clambers to his hands and knees, reaching out for something in front of him.
However, all that effort and strain is clearly taking its toll as between each attempt, the wee man is often caught lazing on the ground as if to say "I know I could do it. It can wait though". That'll be the Australian in him then.
Having reached 500 entries a few weeks ago, the kind folks at Blipfoto asked me if I'd be happy for them to put together a story of my experience in taking 500 pictures.
I was obviously flattered by the interest but never really expected it to go anywhere. Not until yesterday, when I was contacted by Maria Croce on behalf of the Daily Record. She interviewed me for about half an hour on my inspirations, ambitions and experiences of being a Blipper.
It's hard for me to imagine anyone being interested in my Blip, outside of my friends, family and this community, but I was assured the local media would. Apparently there might be an article in tomorrow's Daily Record.
I must admit it felt a little strange being interviewed about keeping a photo journal of my son but if the article helps promote this website and inspires a new wave of Blippers I'll be delighted.
