Offering

We went for a short stroll along the beach after brunch this morning, and found this offering placed at the base of a tree. There didn't seem to be anything special about this particular tree, so I don't know why it was chosen.

Interestingly a family was using the other side of the tree as stumps for a beach cricket game. It made for a fascinating juxtaposition.
