Twickenham Beer Festival

Been feeling a bit under the weather on Thursday but perked up enough today to get out to the thirteenth Twickenham beer festival. I remember when they had the first one it ran Thursday to Saturday we turned up early Evening on Saturday and they had run out of beer it was so popular. No shortage of beer tonight. The darker brew is an American brown ale style hopped with citra hops from the Twickenham brewery which (TTS) for citra tasted of grapefruit. The lighter beer is StorksRocks Salamander Mudpuppy which was a beautifully balanced English best bitter. Nice to exchange notes with Adam who was at Oxford beer festival tonight, and nice to bump into Mike who is always up for a beer. For us at Twickenham though BOTF was Titanic Stout, still a classic.
