To divert or not to divert?

Spotted this sign on my cycle this morning and was tempted to take a diversion. However I didn't want to miss lunch with Mrs B, so this will have to wait for another day....

I Googled "Via Flavii" to try and find out more, but there is very little apart from a couple of photos from further down the path. What I do know is that the Romans had a big historic presence in the Cumbernauld area, and the Antonine Wall is very close by, and there's lots of info on this!
