Stanboul Plane

That's the Bosphorous down there! I'm not making it up because you can see some mosques and all. I am so excited! What a great thing to be doing on the spur of the moment after that inspiring site of the Hurricane yesterday*. Another hour and I will be strolling through the Sultanahmet.

*Actually booked it ages ago, 3 days before the riots at Taksim Square. If we hadn't booked at that stage we would have given it a swerve, for fear of encountering riot police and tear gas. Reports to follow.
