A catch up on a holiday with no wifi and all the better for it!

Day 1
This morning we were heading off to Boat of Garten for a week's break. The plan was to meet in Tesco car park in Perth to do some shopping for the week. This plan was changed when my sister developed toothache in the middle of the night and ended up with an appointment at 2.20pm in Falkirk. My niece and nephew were not best pleased so they phoned to see if we would pick them up and take them and they would follow on. We did have a moment when we did wonder if they had a flight booked to somewhere exotic and we were left with the kids!

As it happened we picked up the kids, did the shopping, had lunch and then headed on. The cottage is beautiful, refurbished only last year and really high spec. We had a lovely dinner in the cottage and a few glasses of wine and an early night as my brother in law is running the Aviemore half marathon tomorrow morning....his second half marathon in 8 days!
