I'm a Survivor

This is a tiny sunflower that's germinated from the sunflower hearts I put out for the birds. It's only about 18" tall but even on this drab, dreary, rainy day it brings a ray of sunshine when I see it from the back windows. Keeping my eyes on that and not the washing that's now wetter than when I hung it out before it started raining!
