i've been sitting in my room now for an hour or so with the sounds of lisa's strumming finding their way through my door. there are some things that are certainly nice about being in my own place, for one having a space to call my own is quite inviting, but i miss home. there are times when i'm happy here and times when i'm not, but more of the latter. i wish it were different. i wish that every night felt like a good night. just tonight feels cozy and content. tomorrow is a new day and maybe lisa will be singing a new song. its not my best photograph but i wanted her playing.
