Falkland Palace

What a wet morning ........ into the car and off to Falkland for some historical input. Falkland was created a Royal Burgh in 1548. The palace, built by the Stewart kings, was well worth a visit but sadly it was too wet for a wander round the gardens. There are many interesting houses in Falkland dating from the 17th century showing a wide variety of architectural styles.
