Sunshine after the Showers

Late this afternoon the rain finally stopped and a watery sun put in a brief appearance. I walked the dog along the beach dodging the tremendous breakers as we strolled along. The tide was just on the turn and there was very little sand to walk on in some parts. It was good to see some children playing in the sand again. Sadly it wasn't quite windy enough to fly the kite.
