Eat Dorset

Lucy and I accompanied my parents and their visiting friends, to the popular Eat Dorset food fair held at Parnham House in Beaminster today. A Mark Hix fish dog was a tasty lunch and we sampled chutneys, biscuits, cordials, chocolates, and cheeses. Our area of West Dorset/East Devon is rapidly becoming a real foodie destination with many "celebrity" chefs having restaurants and cookery schools nearby. Demonstrations and show stalls displayed the delicious fare, this being the stall of the Hive Beach Cafe and The Watch House where Mr H and I have had several nice meals. Lucy and I really enjoyed ourselves and managed to bring home some tasty-looking macarons.
