Gillingham Away.
My first outing to a football match this season was my 'local' game at Gillingham. Just over twenty minutes on the train, a ten minute walk to the pub and a nice pint or two with fellow Preston North End supporters. The Will Adams is a friendly corner pub on a terraced residential street serving excellent real ale including my favourites, Dark Star Hophead and Dark Star American Pale Ale. The pub had old windows with Bottle and Jug lettering. I'm happy that I wasn't a jinx on the team, who won. A handy 3 points from Gillingham Away. Less than an hour after the ref's final whistle, I was back home. It'll be hours before the Lancashire-bound fans get home.
