Out of place

Just a couple of weeks ago I was telling one of the kids how, a few years back, the main street in Kirkby Lonsdale was closed for a day while some utilities work was carried out. As KL has a one way system, this meant that one of the unidirectional roads had to briefly become two-way: hence, we all enjoyed the novelty of driving *up* Mitchelgate.

This week's filming of Jamica Inn in the Market square has meant that the market had to relocate up to one of the car parks, and here it is in the photo.

I didn't find the market stalls any more exciting than usual but it was nice having them (kind of) amongst the trees. It felt a bit more medieval!
