Fort Barracks

These barracks are in Fort St Jean Baptiste at Natchitoches, LA (pronounced Nack-o-dish). The actual wood was rebuilt about 1979, but the fort dates to the 18th century French. It only fought in anger once, against the Natches Indians and the French and Spanish cooperated.
