Birthday rose

Today we travelled to Forfar for a joyous reunion with a group of friends who were close thirty years ago. We all moved in the 1980s but never lost touch. Most of us had seen each other in the intervening years but the occasion for this reunion was the visit of a dear friend who now lives in Canada. This was her first visit back to Scotland and she brought her daughter, whose birthday it was.

It rained all day.
