emerging from the morning mist

Woke up this morning to thick fog. Had to take my husband to work today as his usual lift was sick. It's always dangerous driving in fog here as the really poor standard of driving gets even worse! They don't use headlights but instead many use hazard warning lights, which of course means absolutely no chance at of using indicators. Ludicrous!

When I got back I went up onto the roof to see what the mist looked like from there, by this time most of it had burnt off, but could still see the "ghost" of Marina West emerging from the mist. This construction is really sad reminder of the recession. It is a complex of apartment blocks, which many expats bought into "off plan" sadly it went bankcrupt several years ago & they all lost their money, whilst the developer got off scot free! Now it just sits there rotting. It's not even lit with aircraft beacons at night!
