A Couple of Chicks

Note sure which ones more trouble? Ones just turned 9, the other is an escape artist … Actually, the latter has a number of friends who are equally skilled …

Today. Actually, a sleep in. Bliss! Adam was at Scouts camp and Hannah had a friend over, so they were “self-contained”. Read a book until 9. Felt VERY guilty!

And then into the day. First mission, start sorting the pop top out in readiness for summer. Sadly it’s been neglected and it’s fibreglass top needed a major overhaul … 2.5 hours later I had most of the moss off, after a deep cut and polish.

Then, erecting the beast. Taking all the mattresses out and airing them, in readiness for installation of a few new features. And finally, out (mundanely) to look at a special on travel bags. We’ve got a big trip coming up in 2014. We bought.

Deal done, home to a BBQ steak, and an early night. Whew!
