Arabian Horse
Day 3 of our Equine Photography Workshop. To catch up on the previous days Friday's Quarter and Saturday's amazing Gypsy Vanner
An extra ordinary early start this morning, we were on the road before 7 am heading in the general direction as yesterday to an Arabian Stud. These are such beautiful horses with what they call a dish nose. My blip perhaps doesn't show this as well as the many closeups but went for this one. We watched while Antonia applied makeup to the head; darkened the eye area and the nose, also spraying on a shine to her body. Then, put a big necklace (bling) around her head and shoulders and a colourful silk material where a saddle would usually go.
Again, as yesterday, the owners couldn't do enough for us. I got some pretty good images again today.....there is a big job ahead deleting and editing. Some lovely portrait images showing their incredibly beautifully heads.
We came back had a late lunch outside and more editing followed.
Home now, its dark and I'm very tired. But very happy. This course was the complete package....wonderful photographic opportunities, excellent tutoring, places that I would never have the opportunity to visit, learning new editing skills, delicious food supplied and much much more.
