Old pub

The Cheshire Cheese on Fleet Street is one of the oldest pubs in London and previous regulars included Dickens, Twain, Conan Doyle and Yeats.

It seemed like a good place to take our work new boy, although I don't think our conversation matched the intellectual highs of the above literary greats.

It's not the greatest photo but it was chucking down with rain all day, so it was glorious to be greeted by several fires as you walked in. With the smell of smoke and the wood panel walls really adding to the atmosphere.
