Rosie and Graham came with me to Richmond. It was lovely; we had coffee and pistachio pastries in our favourite cafe, then a walk by the river and up through Victoria Gardens. We decided to go back into the town for a few shop visits, which turned out to be a wise choice as it became night-time dark by three thirty and then the heavens opened.
Home for home made veggie stew with dumplings, followed by apple cake and cream, can't wait.
