DRAGON

A brilliant walk at the RSPB reserve seeing geese, snipe, golden plover, wigeons (my favourites), teal, egrets (but then again, too few to mention) and loads of other feathered creatures, as well as some butterflies and lots of these dragonflies. I don't know what sort it is - not very big, very complicated-looking in the wing mechanism department, and quite resilient as this one was doing lots of flying around despite its damaged wings. I got home just before the sky fell in!
