Alex RIP

Took 3 photographs (which I've stuck together) of this street shrine which I passed on route to work this morning.
I've no idea who Alex is, although looking at the content of the shrine he must have been a young footballer who lived in the Gilmerton area of Edinburgh.
I've never really felt comfortable with this very public outpouring of grief, but I suppose as an epitaph to a young lad he could have done worse, and it was nice to see all the different football strips united together without it causing a problem.
Sleep peacefully Alex, a lot of people cared about you.
