A Turkish man's home...

...is his castle. This genial gent was sweeping the front step of his charming cottage in a back street of old Istanbul. He proudly stood to attention while I took his picture.

I tried to explain to him that he was going to be my Blip of the day but somehow I think it got lost in translation.
