Rainy Sunday

Haslemere Town U15s had an away match at Finchampstead this afternoon so we decided to share a car with Andy and his son Jake. Somehow this got increased to me providing them with breakfast before we went! Jolly good though - sausages, bacon, fried bread, fried eggs, mushrooms, baked beans, tomatoes and toast all washed down with tea and orange juice. Yum!

And then off to the match. Sadly we only had ten players, and we were up against a good, well organised side, and we lost. But boy we had some weather! We were just getting out of the car, when the loudest clap of thunder broke above us, setting off car alarms in the car park, and making us flee for cover.

Poor boys :-(
