It is Sunday

Following the night at Lapin Agile, nothing could have prepared me for the wild night of music last night at the George Hotel in Moniaive, near Dumfires. A have never seen such a gathering of guitars, violins, banjos etc. And I had the joy of being in the middle of it with my pencils and brushes.

In this remote village there are frequent gatherings of very talented musicians. All these 4 were participating and I was always amazed how they always knew the right key in the whirlwind of musical numbers. We left at 11.30 but goodness knows what time it all finished. It was almost like a scene from Tom a Shanter!!

I was flattered to hear that my sketches were on facebook in Moniaive today.
