Trekking day one

We had an arduous start to our trek - sitting in a jeep for a few hours struggling up the hill. The walk wasn't too bad and after only a couple of hours we got to Ghandruk where we spent the first night - very pleasant little village with beautiful views over the valley.

Stopped off in some shade mid-morning to enjoy a cup of tea...
