Early morning on the range

Apart from a few poor bee photos, hadn't taken any today: so at 23:00 started looking for an emergency Blip. Let the dogs out, tried a few flash photos, none of which were inspiring but would have to do. On loading the days work on to PC found Angie had taken some photos early this morning with the sun rising and so I was rescued.

Quiet day tidying up in the garden. There was no tidying up from yesterday, mainly thanks to Andrea who I constantly saw taking chairs back to their place, collecting plates, cups and glasses. Thanks Andrea, you allowed me to have a slow start today. As is normal here, the left over cake from a party is split up amongst the participants, so I was able to enjoy 4 bits of cake this afternoon. Steffi's Donauwellen tasted even better today.

Good weather although it started drizzling late afternoon. Yesterday we had a plague of ladybirds swarming around us during coffee & cake. While naturally a wonderful thing to have them around, they actually became a nuisance! Weather is set to be great this coming week and could well stay warmish for the week after which would be fabulous.

Just seen a report on Sky News about a tornado in Hampshire this morning. Trust Phoebe & Murphy didn't have their legs blown away during their morning walk.
