Party day!

Today was Eden's farm animal vintage tea party! Katie was a brilliant help, so Aunty Lauren told me, setting up the tables outside while I cracked on with things in the kitchen. The girls were very excited to put on their pretty dresses and twirl twirl twirl then pose by the roses.

All the little firends arrived and they ran riot on the bouncy castle. They sat down for "morning tea" (snack time) before the animals came. Katie and Edie held chicks, ducklings, guinea pigs, rabbits. Edie fed the pig and the lamb, Katie fed the lamb. They all three had a pony ride. Edie had another and wanted it to keep. A beautifully set lunch was laid out during this, before cake and more bouncy castle time.

After all the friends had gone, the three of them opened a lot of Edie's presents which more than filled the rest of the afternoon as we tidied up, and collapsed, around them.

I could have chosen about 9 different photos for todays blip, but chose the one with "the first" - Katies first pony ride (note the barefeet, Katie's fitting right in to the Aussie style!)
