Really strangely the train stations in Brisbane seem to have almost no information about the trains.

The local one has a board on each platform which will only tell you about the next train on that platform. So you either have to have some local knowledge about platforms which we have yet to gain or to go check all the platforms.

Though on one platform there is a box with two buttons on it, one button will tell you which is the next train into town and the other will tell you the next train out of town. If you press this button and it says "2 minutes on the platform over there" The next two minutes are not going to be fun for you.
