Santa Croce

A more difficult choice of photos today. We saw so much. Started up at the Santa Marco Convent and so the amazing Frangelico fresco's, then down to the Santa Croce which was incredible inside. Unfortunately the best of the frescos were cordened off. After that we went up to Piazzale Michaelangelo and got the most amazing view of the city. We also sat and had a bottle of wine and watched the sun go down. Beautiful.... After that, to a minimarket to buy ingredients for dinner. That was almost the most impressive of all. The Italians have such wonderful produce. A lovely but exhausting day.

In the end I opted for this photo of the arches in the Santa Croce - a moment of tranquility in the bustle of the tourist attractions.
