My Maternal Grandfather.

This is a pastel portrait of my grandpa in about 1936. I think cartoons like this were popular at the time, partly because photographs were not common. It is a very good likeness- just as I remember him, but with his characteristics exaggerated.

I would quite like to have cartoons drawn of my family today.
