Trafalgar Day at Charing Cross Station

I have never seen it like this remarked one frustrated commuter on arriving here this evening. We were coming in the opposite direction from Kent where we had been to celebrate my great niece's third birthday and meet her brother for the first time! Another lovely happy family day!

Less happy were all the delays on South Eastern trains caused by over running weekend engineering work that knocked out the whole network all day. Ironically we chose the train over the car for this journey and chose the wrong day!

Currently at Paddington hoping for delay free run home to Gloucester shortly!
