Back to the usual routine today, just another Kelpie Monday.

Made it out of here with all my arms intact even though I never heard the Protector of the Kelpies pull this flanking manoeuvre as I dangled off the canal pontoon trying to get a picture of the raindrops splashing in the water. 'Hissssss' yersel ya feersum beastie, you'll need to be quicker than that.

Still work going on despite the weather this afternoon, peeling off the protective material on the plates (the lighter coloured ones near the bottom still have this on). It was very quiet otherwise, me being the only numpty splashing through the puddles down by the canal other than the construction workers who, by this point, were tucked up under shelter and pointing at the weirdo lying on his belly in the wet shouting at swans.
