Xmas - again
Xmas - again
Our Xmas cactus now seems to flower a 'tidge' early. We are not sure how to adjust its biological clock - by around 2 months no less. Perhaps it is proof of global warming, especially as this is Newcastle and on the edge of the artic circle. It is so unnaturally warm up here these days, rather weird in fact. If it goes on like this - MAJORCA watch out ! All the tourists will be flocking to Whitley Bay, and the Bigg Market will become the new Magaluff (no difference there however, as it is the same inhabitants in any case !!) I wonder what the Chinese master race will think of that, now that they will own all our power generation in anticipation of high energy usage due to the cold climate. If it warms up five degrees by 10 years time, we might actually half our consumption - Now have the economists thought of that ??? The new nuclear reactors might not even be needed.
Waiting in anticipation for that 'cold snap' .....
