"one book and one pen"

This young girl was meant to survive!! She is changing her world!

Back in 2012 she was shot in the head and neck while returning home from school. Flown to Britain a few days after the attack, surgeons saved her life and now she speaks out in favour of all children, boys and girls being entitled to an education.

In a special programme on BBC tonight she spoke about her ordeal and how since starting school in Birmingham, she believes that British girls take their education for granted. And you know what, I agree with her. Too many girls here are more concerned about how they look, how short their skirts are, how much make-up they have on and what boy's eye they can catch at school rather than actually go to learn something!!

Where Malala is from, girls treasure their education like a rare pearl. They want to learn! They want to make a better life for themselves and their appearance and love life doesn't matter to them so long as they are learning!

Malala has recently been quoted for saying:

"Let us pick up out books and pens. They are our most powerful weapons. One child, one teacher, one book and one pen can change the world! Education is the only solution."

And she's right! :)
