Walked past the offices of the Cockburn Association today and there was no one in. Except for this rather wistful looking chap gazing out the other window. He is the late Lord Henry Cockburn (1779-1854) the inspiration for the Cockburn Association and its formation in 1875.

He also had this street named after him. The best I can hope for is someone naming their dog after me.
