Schwann Lagoon

I had to pull over this morning as I was driving by this inlet--most of the surface of the water was covered by this startling light green algae. The fog was just lifting, and another photographer told me that the algae disappears with the sun and comes back later in the day. There were cormorants and gulls aplenty, and a wonderful touch of autumn in the background.
