We will miss you Grandma Debbie

My heart aches today. Grandma Debbie passed away this morning. We all knew she was very close, but you still can never prepare yourself for all the emotions that come up. It was only a yr. and some days that she was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. Never in a million yrs. did I ever think we'd be saying goodbye so soon. That's the one thing about death, its a great reminder not to take things for granted. Even as much as a simple hug, a phone call, or a smile. Life is too short, and you never know when it will be pulled out from underneath you. It still seems very surreal. I'm so sad that Kellen will never remember his Grandma Debbie. She really was the best! She loved all her grandchildren so much. It's just not fair. She had just retired last spring. So unfortunate. Although I know that one day we will all meet again, so it's really not goodbye. We love you Grandma Debbie, you will be missed but never forgotten. May you finally rest in peace without any pain.
