Siesta time......Paradise Shelduck and chicks...

Pouring with rain most of the day
however cleared late afternoon,in time
to spot this mother and chicks resting by the river....
They lay about 9 eggs and pair for life.....
So cute the little ones ,like striped bumble bees!Thank you so much for lovely comments that put my foraging bee on spotlight.....
