An Autumn Stroll...

Abney Hall Park in Cheadle has an interesting link to English crime and mystery writer Agatha Christie. The grade II Victorian hall, which dates back to 1847, was owned by her brother-in-law James Watts. The writer was a frequent visitor to the hall and wrote stories from there. The grounds are now a nature reserve and make for a pleasant stroll.
