Too early!

Yes the Christmas lights are up in the ice rink. The reason why they are up so early is that it takes so long to decorate the whole town centre they need to begin at the start of October. At least they won't be lit for a few weeks yet.

Ladies' teams were playing on three sheets of ice this morning. Mornings appear to be more popular for women, perhaps they go for lunch after. I was there on my own practising my release of the stone. I am playing in my first inter-club match on Friday at Braehead.

I like the fact that the conduit pipes are on show,( I'm not sure if that is the correct term for whatever they are) I think they make quite an attractive sculpture.
