After the rain

Following yesterdays dreadful weather and this morning's follow-on (it was still dark when it was light), there was a short period of sunshine. A quick grab shot on the way home.

Been a manic day we conference call after conference call this afternoon. A number of issues, if not entirely resolved, at least on the way. A major problem successfully entered into IT problem management (although I had to throw my toys out the pram to get it on the radar - sorry for mixing metaphors....). Could do with another similar day tomorrow when I'm down in Winchester. I won't get to see any of the lovely place though :-(

Hopefully this image works - a combination of some manipulation in Lightroom, then into SEfexPro to create a mono layer and then into PS to merge the two images with a bot of local curves to bring out a little of the detail. A slight noise reduction back in LR and then export. All much better than the original which was too dark in the foreground.
